Allen Robinson 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#29 WR Allen Robinson 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Allen Robinson II (Bears)

6'3, 211

The Bears didn't get what they were expecting from Allen Robinson in his first season with the team. In 13 games the stat line was a modest 55 receptions for 754 yards and only 4 TDs. 754 is nothing to write home about but Trubisky was still figuring things out, and he was banged up and missed some time. Keep that in mind when assessing the Allen Robinson 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Matt Nagy is an offensive guru and this offense should be much better in 2019. Trubisky is in his 3rd year and getting better, and the Bears added a couple of three-down running backs that won't show defenses what the play call is. Jordan Howard was a two-down Plodder with bricks for hands and rookie David Montgomery will help this offense immensely.

Robinson has had some injury issues, and there are other receivers in Anthony Miller and Taylor Gabriel to share targets with, but there is a huge upside as well. It was just a couple of years ago when Robinson racked up 1,400 receiving yards and 14 TDs and that was with Blake Bortles as his QB.

This offense is on it's way up and Robinson was on pace for 928 yards if he didn't miss any games. He may never reach 1,400 yards again but he's a good bet for 1,000 if he can stay healthy, and big progression in TDs should be there too.
