Alvin Kamara 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#3 RB Alvin Kamara 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Alvin Kamara (Saints)

5'10, 215 lbs

Kamara is coming off a monster year, and he could get even more looks as the Saints let Mark Ingram walk in free agency and that is the key item for the Alvin Kamara 2019 Fantasy Outlook. In only his second season, Kamara had 883 rushing yards with a whopping 14 TDs. He also dominates catching the ball as he filled the stat sheet with 81 receptions for 709 yards and another 4 TDs.

The Saints offense is one of the best in the game and Drew Brees should have a year or two left of elite quarterback play. The team did lose longtime center Max Unger, but the blocking shouldn't just fall off a cliff. This is a team with Superbowl aspirations and is in the process of turning Kamara lose.

His 18 TDs from last year will be hard to match, but a bigger workload could also be in the cards. Kamara is top 5 pick in any league no matter what type of scoring is used. The Saints added Latavius Murray to fill the void left by Ingram, but my money is on Kamara getting some of the reps on his way to a huge fantasy season.

If you draft Kamara, cover yourself by picking Murray as a handcuff. He will cost you a top 5 pick but should provide top 5 fantasy points.
